Walder REI LLC is the husband and wife team of Bob & Joyce Walder, based in Austin, TX.
We are accredited real estate investors specializing in multifamily assets. Via syndication, we own multiple B and C-class properties in Texas, Colorado, and New Jersey.
We are members of the Brad Sumrok Apartment Investor Mastery (AIM) group, and personal students and mentees of Brad.
Since 2017 we have invested in 10 multifamily deals (both passively, and as syndicators) totaling over 2000 doors across 7 cities and 3 states, with a combined purchase price of $150m. Two of those deals have gone full cycle, one providing total returns of over 40% in under 12 months, and the other providing returns of over 110% in less than 18 months. A third is currently being listed for sale, and is expected to return over 100% in just under 3 years. While it is not possible to guarantee future performance, the fundamentals of multifamily real state investments are solid, and we would like to help set you on the path to achieving similar results.
BOB WALDER
Bob has a long career in the tech industry, focusing on network security issues and technologies. He has extensive business experience, having founded NSS Labs in 1991 in the UK, which went on to become the foremost security testing facility in the world. Bob grew this business from a sole-proprietorship in England to a thriving 100+ person company based in Austin TX.
Having successfully raised two rounds of venture capital to grow the company, Bob sold his equity and retired in 2016. This allowed him to focus 100% of his time on real estate investing, to which he brings strong business, finance, and project planning skills.
JOYCE WALDER
Joyce has a background in the legal field, commercial and residential banking, was co-owner of a dental practice in the Dallas area, and was most recently a Dental Hygienist in the Austin area.
After leaving her career in dentistry in 2019, Joyce is now able to focus on commercial real estate investments full time. Her experience and attention to detail bring a broad range of exceptional skills to the team.
Joyce enjoys working side by side with her husband, Bob. When not working, Joyce enjoys traveling, running, yoga, and spending time with family.
